Some more designs; I’m working on turnarounds right now!; and the animatic… it’s uh… a veryyyy long process. (The animatic, that is. I surprisingly was able to finish the sketch for the first turnaround only in a few hours! That has to be my record…)

Anyways probably more design stuff will be coming out! Probably just some bg design, prop stuff all that. Maybe I’ll even release the turnarounds into the wild, who knows?

It’s just a bit difficult designing things when I’m still in the early process. It’s very necessary to get the feel for your story very early on but as this is a very, very big project, I’m worried my artstyle will go through major changes. (And/or improvements). Which, of course, improvements would be great! But then all of my other designs will be outdated :(

There’s never too much change within a year, —and I’m already quite familiar with the characters so I doubt they themselves will change— but this project will be stretching into spring 2026 (when I submit it), and a lot of other things could change by then. Anyways, for now, im just gonna work on the stuff I should work on and leave the worrying for a later time.

Notes on a non-human character from the dream I had the day before yesterday🕊‎

In the dream, this boy was being called an angel.

He looks like an angel (a supernatural being), but if you look closely, each part of his body is extremely bird-like.

His intelligence is about the same as a crow’s. He’s treated like an animal. His body resembles a human’s too closely, so they’ve put clothes on him—just in case.

I guess I’m thinking about the same kind of beings whether I’m asleep or awake.
